Basic composition of motorcycle

Motorcycle is composed of five parts: engine, transmission system, walking system, steering, braking system and electrical instrument equipment. The overall structure of the motorcycle and the name of each component.

Motorcycle is a convenient two-wheeled motor vehicle, its structure is exquisite and complex, mainly including the following key parts:

1. Engine block: This is the power heart of a motorcycle, which is composed of cylinder head, cylinder block and crankcase. Cylinder head, usually aluminum alloy, with fins to optimize heat dissipation. Modern four-stroke engine designs use overhead valves, chain drives and overhead camshafts to improve combustion efficiency and power output.

2. Crank and connecting rod mechanism: The crankshaft of the motorcycle is a combination of the left half crankshaft, the right half crankshaft and the crank pin. It is supported on the crankcase by ball bearings to ensure smooth operation. The two ends of the crankshaft are respectively connected to the flywheel, magneto and clutch driving gear. These components work together to convert the reciprocating motion of the piston into rotary power.

3. Fuel supply system: The carburetor plays an important role, which is located between the air filter and the engine intake. The internal structure of the carburetor includes a float chamber and a mixing chamber, which are responsible for mixing gasoline and air in a certain proportion to provide the engine with an appropriate amount of combustible mixture.

4. Lubrication system: The four-stroke engine adopts a combination of splash lubrication and pressure lubrication to ensure that all parts of the engine are fully lubricated. The two-stroke engine is usually mixed with a certain proportion of oil in gasoline to achieve mixed lubrication.

5. Starting system: motorcycle mainly adopts pedal starting mode. The starting mechanism drives the crankshaft to rotate through the linkage of the shift lever, sector gear, starting ratchet, clutch assembly sprocket and other components, thereby starting the engine.
